At J. R. Reding Company, we take pride in developing our staff to provide the best customer service and satisfaction in the industry. We are looking for experienced furniture repair and restoration technicians that can complete every stage of furniture restoration from start to finish.
You must also posses excellent communication and customer service skills for direct interaction with customers.
Needed Skills:
color blending
burn-ins
structural repair
parts installation
upholstery panel repair
complete re-upholster ability
wood carving for replacement pieces
mechanism repair and replacement
General Requirements:
3 years experience in wood and/or upholstery repair
Ability to lift 50+ plus on a regular basis
Available to work Days, Evenings, and Weekends
Position involves meeting clients at their homes and/or businesses as well as our woodshop, inspecting damages, advising clients of appropriate services, documenting of quotations, follow through to close sale, maintain customer contact through service work and after.
Knowledge of furniture required. Must be consistently successful at "Relationship Selling". You don't need to be perfect, but you do need to listen and learn.
