This eighteenth century four poster bed was stored in the basement for years. It was a family heirloom, but not very pretty due to neglect. It was carved in Germany and is a one of a kind piece of family history.
Luckily, the family contacted John Reding for restoration. One of the things about restoration that John always cautions about is knowing when to restore and went to clean. Sometimes antique restoration involves both.
The family is still working on curtains, headliner, and coverings to finish and furnish the setting perfectly.
